Selective Service
Federal Law requires nearly all male US citizens and male immigrants, 18 through 25, to register with Selective Service. Many scholarships and federal aid programs, including FAFSA, require you to register before giving access to funds. Cap and Gown Ordering for the Class of 2023
We are excited about beginning planning for our 2023 graduation ceremony. We will have a TLC ceremony and our graduates can also participate in their home high school’s graduation ceremony (traditionally at Rupp Arena). The dates will not be finalized until after spring break. However, the last day of school in FCPS is currently scheduled for May, 26, 2023.
Caps and Gowns: Students only need to purchase one cap and gown unit/set. Students planning on attending TLC and home high school graduation ceremonies will select the cap and gown that matches their home high school. Students planning on walking with TLC only can select a TLC blue cap and gown set. At our TLC ceremony, we allow and celebrate the different cap and gown colors, but do request that all students wear a cap and gown.
Jostens is the cap and gown provider for Fayette County High Schools. “Cap and gown units” all include a cap, a gown, and a tassel. Please know that the cap and gown websites sell A LOT of extra graduation extras in “packages”, you do not have to buy a package to get a cap and gown set.
